This weekend I was on a weekend trip together with the people from M&L going to Tone’s cabin in Lillesand – in the very south of Norway. She is kind enough to host everyone at her summerhouse/cabin. We were lucky with the weather and had a great time having a BBQ, playing in the sun and a good amount of drinks.

Before heading out on our trip, we had to refill on
food to endure the ride. Here Frode is documenting it himself.

It’s on trips like this I get reminded of why Norway is known for it’s nature. A lot of pretty views along the ride.

We met up with Edvard and Silje about 40mins in and was in steady contact with them through some funny walkie-talkie action on the road along with quizzes.

As we where approaching Lillesand the sun was going down and we had a very nice sunset.

The host herself coming to pick us up in a boat at the pier to drive over to the cabin.

It didn’t take long after arrival before beer and vodka was on the table as we prepared BBQ sausages.

Kalle was the first to go for a morning swim.

There was no lack of smoking on the trip – for those who consume it.

Pete stretching out after breakfast.

The main cabin.

A random snapshot by Kalle, calling it “album cover art”.

The photographer himself

Drinks are already on the table, even if it’s only noon!

The canoe and view from the cabin.

We played a game called “Kubb” which I have never played before but was a lot of fun – despite our team being horrible. I laughed so much at one point I almost lost my breath.

Some walkie talkie action going on.

Edvard responding!

Sneaky Silje.

Frode is completely packed in blankets, keeping the heat.

And so the night ended late with the stream of drinks still coming together with chats and songs(very impusilve and random ones) around the bonfire.

Idyllisk;)!
