OFFF is a anual design festival in Europe, changing locations and this year returning to Barcelona, Spain. I went down there for my first time at OFFF, but also first time in Spain – together with the designers from M&L. Although I don’t have a lot of photos from the conferences themselves from the event since I was busy paying attention to what was being said and shown, I still feel very inspired by everything I saw. New impulses, new people and new creatives to follow for future work. Being at the event and seeing what others did, I started itching to do some creative work myself.

Arriving at OFFF and picking up our event bracelets.

Random self portrait at a t-shirt store

This artwork was being worked on throughout the event, this was on one of the early days – more details were added.

The outdoor screne streaming the conferences for those who wanted to have a drink/smoke while attending… or just for the less fortunate who didn’t get a seat at the event. This photo was taken on the very first day, a ton of chairs where added to accommodate more people.

An artist being interviewed at the event, but sadly don’t know who it was.

Petter in his most common position – laying on the ground.

This gun was hooked up to a camera and computer, the camera would take a photo of a person and the gun would recreate the outline of the person/object.

Incredibly detailed illustration by Bosmind

Alex Trochut‘s conference was probably my highlight of all the speakers at OFFF 2011. He’s an excellent illustrative typographer, with both good idea and very fine detailed execution.

And of course, as always when on vacation – there is a lot of drinking invovled. So after a long day at OFFF we would always hit the bar afterwards. Frode seems very happy with this choice.

Overall had a great time in Barcelona. A lot of stuff we saw and experience not covered by photos since I didn’t bring my camera along. We had a very exclusive dinner one night, and last night we hit Razzmatazz hard, which was very fun. Cheers to everyone who was there and made the trip a fun experience.
