LE PÉCHÉ

LE PÉCHÉ is a Premium Absinthe from Switzerland. It was Founded under another name in 1880 in the canton of Neuchâtel. However, in 1910 absinthe was banned from sale and production in Switzerland, and it was at this time some continued to make the drink in secrecy, to please the lovers of the drinks. In the social aspect, it was considered “The Devils Drink”. And this is where LE PÉCHÉ, meaning “The Sin”, got it’s name.

Longest render in 3d history.

I’m currently working on a project of creating a new juice range aimed towards teens, named “Brain Juice”, it’s going to be a bit edgy and have a bit rough design. I’ve been working on the design in Illustrator, adding the typography in InDesign, making the liquid in RealFlow and finally putting it all together in a scene in Cinema 4D. I have previously only worked with Maya, but thought I’d give Cinema 4D a try since I’ve heard it’s more simple to use… which I can agree on. Easier to figure out on your own – for the most part at least.

Zetta Florence folio

As I mentioned earlier, I just recently bought a folio at Zetta Florence. By request and just general interest, I thought I could show it to those who wonder how it looks like. The folio itself feels very well crafted and quality like. It’s halfway heavy in your hands and closes together in a snug fit. The lid itself is closed by a magnetic lid, so it closes quite smoothly and stays there. I the 3 wall version, dark grey and with rings. I just want to make sure that everything stays in the correct order and also don’t all the content to fly out if it should open by accent sometime.

End of the semester RMIT

Hello everyone. Time for a little update.

It’s closing in on the end of the first semester of 3rd year at RMIT, communication design. A lot of stress right now, and I’m looking forward to finish off the projects I’m working on, everything – including the folio – is due June 7th.

What’s also good about this, is that I’ll have more time focusing on updating my website which still needs a bit more touches to it. It will also be a great time for me to update the works on this page. I have a lot of work that are done or almost done. Some I have even photographed and just need to edit the photos before I can put it up.

I also bought a Zetta Florence folio a couple of days ago. I’ll probably upload photos of it in a couple of days, once I’ve just reached some deadlines(some that are due tomorrow even!).

Anyways, that was just a few boring words I had on my mind right now. Cheers!

Electronic Beauty

“Electronic Beauty”, a concept I had been talking about doing for a long time together with Raeoni Davies. A lot stopped us from doing it, mainly random events stopping the shoot, but we finally got to do it. The idea was so mix computer pieces with a model’s makeup and make it look beautiful, this would also be done in the manner of a high end beauty shoot. So very clean look overall. We took some shots before and after.

Chill with the bike

Today we’re joining Atsuko for a little trip in the alleys of Melbourne, chilling with her pushbike. There’s nothing like a nice bike, combined with a nice girl, perfect combination of a good photo! These photo are taken for promotional value to the Spoke brand, promoting it’s retail store. You can see the full spoke products here: Spoke logo/stationary

New website design!

I’m happy say and show my new website design! It’s still a work in progress in updating everything to this new theme, but getting there. 90% of the content have been adjusted for this theme now, so shouldn’t take long before everything is up and running.

Hopefully this will not only give more attention to the website and attract more interest, but also easier to use for people browsing it. This is overall my project on redesigning my website from the old flash design I used before, which was heavily inconvenient on many levels. Updating, browsing, loading just to mention a few. So I’ve been listening and addressing those problems. One of the major interests with the new design and more blog-based setup is to make it possible for me to update the website more frequently, keeping it up to date with both work and announcements.

Cheers.

Spoke.

Spoke. is a new fictional pushbike and accessories retailer starting up in Kuala Lumpur, and in need for a redesign of their identity to appeal to young and off the mainstream indie type of people. I’ve combined the elegance of a stylized logo, together with the more indie look of crunched paper, which creates an interesting combination and look.
