I chose “Urban Textures” as my theme, so I display different textures and enhance the photos by choosing a paper stock the enhances the overall feel and look for that texture, as an example and way to inspire people how to use this paper stock.

J’y Suis Jamais Alle [Video]
I made a video where I visualized the song “J’y Suis Jamais Alle” by Yann Tiersen. It’s a very very french song, and the french feel goes to the listener, or at least it did strongly to me. So I wanted to create a french scenario and video that would go hand in hand with the song. I ended up filming a mime at degraves street and at the yarra bridge with the ferris wheel in the background. It was filmed over 2 days, and hours of editing afterwards… but the end result ended up quite nice.

While filming J’y Suis Jamais Alle [Mime Video] we also did a few black a white shots. It was shot in black and white to give it more of the french feel, and also since her shirt was blue and black instead of the traditional black and white striped shirt.

Goth Documentary [Video]
This is an interesting project. In our photography class at RMIT we where sent out to document a story, take photos and make a video montage of the photos with audio recording. I had a lot of problems choosing what to do, but eventually I stumbled up on a model named Rebecca that’s a goth… and I made her tell me her story why she’s a goth, and what makes her a goth.
I went home to her place one night when she just finished work and was expecting some friends to come over. I followed her through the process of just being an everyday girl working at target and then changing over to the goth girl. Getting drunk, and partying with friends. Here’s her story:
